Sending You Love Card

January 3, 2018

Happy New Year!

Welcome to my first blog project for 2018.  To start off the year, I am going to be doing a giveaway.  I will randomly select a lucky winner to receive a Close To My Heart Stamp Set (of my choice).  All you have to do is comment below with what your first project of the year will be, visit my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/angelawhitedesigns/ and comment on the same project photo pictured here.  A winner will be announced on my Facebook page on Friday January 5th.

I created this quick and simple card using the Close To My Heart Paws Stamp.  This is an M size stamp and is available through Close To My Heart for only $2.95.  The sentiment is from the Sending Prayers Stamp set also available through Close To My Heart.  I wanted to create a simple but fun background using the paws stamp, all you have to do is stamp the pattern all over your plain card stock to create this fun back ground.  I added the Blush Shimmer Ribbon to give the card a bit of fancy.

Here's a list of the tools and products used to create this card:

  • Paws Stamp (M1180)

  • Sending Prayers Stamp Set (B1563)

  • Blush Shimmer Ribbon (Z3313)

  • White Daisy Card Stock (1385)

  • Black Card Stock (1386)

  • Black Ink Pad (Z2805)

  • Nutmeg Ink Pad (Z2830)

  • Tape Runner

  • Trimmer

  • Scissors

Cutting Dimensions:

Card Base - 4.25" X 11" (Scored at 5 1/2 and fold); White Daisy Card Stock

Layer 1 - 4" X 5.25"; Black Card Stock

Layer 2 - 3.5" X 4.75"; White Daisy Card Stock

Layer 3 - 3" X 3.75"; Black Card Stock

Layer 4 - 2.75" X 3.5"; White Daisy Card Stock

I hope you like today's project, I am working on video tutorials that will be focusing on techniques and product reviews in the next few days.  If you would like to see a video on any particular technique or products, comment below or send me an email at angela@angelawhitedesigns.com.

Thanks for visiting and happy crafting!
